what do you do before racing?

do you empty out your toolbox?
do you change all your gear oil to make it faster?

what does everyone do before drag racing to squeeze a few more .10ths?

right now my best is 16.3 and I am trying to get as close to 15.8 without going under for this drag challenge thing on sunday

I have tool boxes that are easy to remove. I generally do remove the tool boxes and the spare. Try not to forget and fillup on the way to the track. Thats about it. Oh, always wash before if possible. At least it will look good no matter what it runs.

That won't do anything for you... unless it needs changing
Clean out the bed, remove toolbox, time fuel level to 1/4 tank when I get to track, check tire pressures and all fluid levels... and I grease the truck!

if u can spin the tires, play with the pressure, till your launch is optimal. i would fight this like crazy on my lightning, but when u dialed the tires in, it made a HUGE difference in et's.

I get off work, drive as fast as I can to the track, and run it. Dirty or not Now that test and tune is on the weekends I'll have time to take some of the junk out.

I took the 40s off and put on some 30s I think. how much time would I gain from removing about 200 pounds of tools and the 60 pound tailgate?
