You gotta figure to win the DHRA stret class it takes 600 hp , pro-street about 850 ,and the modified about 1500. Maybe they will be better prepared next year

They were real secret about the truck. Didnt even want me to check out under the truck.
I understand their reasoning so I didnt push the issue. It was cool of them to let me take pics of the dragster engine. And the guy in the pic was cool and answered some questions I had. I did thank them for coming out to Ca. that was a long haul for them. Let me say from what I did see of the truck it was no where near stock.

Internationals most reliable engine next to the 7.3 line... An inline six cylinder displacing 466 cubic inches, capable of 200-250 hp and i think 650-800 TQ... easy to work on and easy to modify and just plain cool

That bigrig2 looked liked it's detroit was in a V configuration, probly an old 2-stroker. Which also means that there would be a blower mounted to the block in addition to those two turbos. We've got a few of those at the school I went to, they are some strong runners. Alot of RPM since they only have one set of valves to worry about. Alot like a dirtbike, can make about the same amount of power as a 4-stroke but with half the cubes. They don't make the torque like the 4-strokes though.
