need some pointers sled pulling

Im hooking my truck to weight transfere sled for the first time at the beginning of next month. the truck is mainly stock has a programmer, 6spd with southbend 3600DD clutch, 4.10 gears, and is a 2006 dually. im looking for some pointers on what gear to take off in and basically how to run it. thanks for the help

4th low or 2nd high rev until it stops and start slipping the clutch, thats the only way I know

well before answering your question what kind of tires are you running and what size are they?

the tires are 31x 9 or 10 i forget what size there bfg rugged trail's there actually the stock tires off a 07 dodge 2500 my buddy bought 37's so he gave all 5 off his truck there the tire that comes from the factory and there going to have to do because i cant afford a hole set at the moment

With your tires an gear ratio, 4th low or 2nd hi. Slip clutch for 50ft or so then put it to the floor.
