Just a few questions about my set up. Is it right?

ill be hooking up to the sled for my second time in about a week, the last time i didnt do real great because i pulled in 2nd gear low which seemed really low, also i didnt change my tire pressure at all (left it at 50psi front, 45psi rear). This time i think im gonna pull in low but leave it in drive with o/d off. Then my really question is what psi should i run in the tires? they are 33-15.50 mtz's so they're pretty aggressive. i was thinking maybe 60psi rear and 15psi front??? does that sound good to yall? also should i make some solid bump stops to keep me from squating? im not sure if they are legal or not in the "stock" diesel class. thanks for any input

You shouldn't run bump stops without traction bars. Those usually aren't allowed in the street class. Tire pressures sound good.

what does your local club rules say about bump stops?? around here in order for your truck to pull you would need driveshaft loops and all the u-joints and you would have to find a new set of tires. loops required with any lift greater that 3" and no dot tires wider that 12.50

im not exactly sure about the bump stops, im hoping that they are allowed at the pull im going to (they arent very strict about anything from what ive seen). Ive pulled before and they never said anything about my lift or having drive shaft loops nor did they say anything about my tires. Are there any other tips you guys have to offer for a beginner? thanks

Sorry I missed your post. I've seen it too many times. Once the weight hits, on a hard pack track, the tires try to dig and the rear axle shifts and u-joint goes boom. Thats the whole reason for bars, to keep the axle from turning.
