seems to me you are just too used to the low end of the cummins
you shoulda had some weight back there.. he he he he sorry tho Hope u get her running again soon. As far as you getting pulled, well it happens the 6.0s are wicked, i guess they are somehow waking up that low end tq in them now, should we cummins guys be scared? I have only pulled a gasser, id be afraid to hook against another diesel, even tho i have heard its all in tires and traction more than anything else, anyone with an auto can take me im thinkin cause they can build boost... ech, now i dont wanna pull no more....

From my experience, hookin bumpers doesn't prove much. I got yanked bad by a 7.3. But, when we hooked to the sled I beat him by 20 feet. There's too many variables when going bumper to bumper. My old gasser ford went head-head with a 350 car(cant remember what kind its the one alot of people use for drag racing....not camaro or trans am) but anyway, in 2wd he pushed me. The other guy said he'd give me a second chance in 4wd, being a little younger then I did, ended up going through his grill. Guess I won.

ok
get level hitches, moderate TQ, about 2500-3000 in the bed, a good reciever and strap with some decent wider tires with slightly lowered pressure... then go out and pick on ppl if u like to hook bumpers..
Cement bags or tractor weights work well for discrete looking weights hehehehehe
