Finally ran the 1/4....
For bracket racing and consistency I leave the line at 15 psi and pull 1.74 to 1.76 60 foots. if I leave at 20+ psi and get it to actually hook it pulls 1.6s. But I'd be careful how many 15 pound launches you do on those stock shafts.
I'm not talking about 25+lbs at launch notice I said 10 or so. Because I'm afraid of breaking my stock shafts also!!
There,..... I said it!! You guys happy now???
Rick
I ran a 14.9 with a completly stock trans, jammer 5s, and a drag comp (on 35s). I did a hard 25 lb lauch on a stock trans. Mine started to slip Bad after the run but it did hold up for over 150k miles.
Maybe but I have been around long enough to understand the limitations of things and that I am gonna have to have self control. How do you think I kept my stocker alive with the power I was running through it.
Im not gonna jinx you here tyler but if u want me to i can bring a trailer down there......well actually ill bring it down for me too lol since i have a record of breaking stuff

Id say NONE. It only takes one time to snap a shaft. The shafts arent necessarily something that wear out over time. Either it holds or it dont.
