I know Ive seen some on here but I dont remember where. Anybody running one? Im gonna put one on my 3rd gen if I need to for pulling or drag.

Yeah, I remember the thread too. PourinDiesel or Pourin, or whatever Justin's handle is...he posted some up he made. Lorenz has a version up on his sight. The other one was blue, I think triton? or someone posted...not for sure. Yeah, not a lot of help, I know

I had the same problem when looking around for them... no one makes any that I really liked. That and there's only a couple people that are making them.

So, I commissioned someone to make a set for my truck. We've seen this persons work before and it's the bomb ! I don't want to say anymore though until they are done and all are happy with their design.

If you can't wait though..... Jegs sells some ok hoops but, some cutting and bending needs to be done. They're kinda universal. Hellmann Performance also sells them. The ones Lorenz sells I'm not real sure are legal according to the rule book. I'd rather have something solid though as oppose to a strap.

 

I got a sweet looking set on my truck Ryan and Lee made up from Wiplash Diesel. Lee can build anything you can think of as he is a heck of afab man. PM me if you need some contact info for them.

 

We need pics man. My only real issue with the one im gonna build is determining how far the driveshaft moves so I can make it dig enough if I go offroad it doesnt hit or drag stuff below.

 

You will have to use an 8" pipe and cut it and what not. A 6" is no where near big enough.

 

here you go. These are pulling loops but, you can get an idea. It's 6" pipe w/1/4" wall thickness. Very sweet looking sweet up.
