Drag Racing @ Coastal Plains Dragway, J'Ville, N.C.
I am re-posting this from the NCDTR #18 Section for DTR Member iracemx6 to get more exposure for the event.
COASTAL PLAINS DRAGWAY EVENT, February 21st, 2009, 11:00 A.M.-7 P.M.
I would like to invite anyone that wants to do some test and tuning to come to "Coastal Plains Dragway" on Saturday February 21, 2009.
I have a friend that is renting the track from 11am to 7pm for some serious grudge racing plus test and tune and I asked him if it was ok if I invited some diesels to the event(since I have one) and he said bring them on anyone is invited!!!!
It is costing alot of $$$ to rent the track for that amount of time and to make sure it is race prepped so the intry fee will be $25.00 for vehicle and driver and $10.00 for specatators.
The grudge racers will not be posting times on the board because money is involved but I'm gonna see if they will run the diesels seperate so the times can be shown.Either way you will still get an ET slip.
Kevin will be videoing the full event and will post the video on streetfire plus he will be taking pictures. I hope we can have a good showing from DTR and it will be a perfect opportunity to get to meet some of the guys here.

Hey Steve, good to hear from you Sir!
No, I still haven't gotten to my differential yet. I plan on getting to it ASAP though. Had some other things come up.
Take care buddy.

I think I might come down there with Daniel to help him tune in his truck. I think it will take alot of tuning to get the truck to its best. We have made alot of changes so there will be alot of tuning This is all new to us, we have never built a 900HP truck before and it will take some time to get it all out of the truck. Lets see if the tires will take it.

This was a great event today!
I want to sincerely thank David (iracemx6) and his friend, Kevin for their invitation to the diesel crew here at NCDTR #18.
For those of you that did not make it, there were some good times posted by
some of our NCDTR #18 Crew today. I will let everyone post their own times, but I want to SINCERELY congratulate two of our Members.
First off, Chris Croom (fastgraphite04) brought out his very quick Dodge Hemi Pickup and ran a best of 12.82 today. Then Brian (00PowerStroke) ran a blistering 11.90@112.23 MPH!! Brian, you have GOT to have one of the fastest Ford 7.3 PSD's in the U.S. Sir! Great job Brian!
