Well thankfully I don't have a very firm valvebody. The only shift on my truck that you feel is the 1-2 shift. Shifts are quick but not lightning fast. And I figure that with the tires spinning like you said it's not as hard. I don't go around doing this though and figure that I have a very select amount of runs in these shafts before they give up the ghost. I also don't run my lockup switch while racing. Only use that for the dyno or tailgater.
