PD, do you drive the iron giant on the street?

If so how big of a pain is it?

 

I've got probably almost 20 hooks on my 2 yr old SBC 3850 Ceramic Button DD in my truck with most of them being this season. Who knows how many 3rd gear launches with 35" tires before that!! I always pull 3rd Low and I try to not slip it more than I have too.

Mine keeps laughing at everything I'm throwing at it and coming back for more.

House I know you've already got your deal on your Comp Puller, but if you have any more probs man I'd say its time for an Iron Giant!!

 

i had about 153,000 and about 70 hooks on my Mitchell dd drove it on the street every day, broke several intermediate plates i pulled in 5th low every pull took it out and had it resurfaced and there was only 7 thousands wear i slipped it about 60ft every pull, sold the truck and still going. the only problem with it is it is extremely loud

 

I have heard some good stories about the Mitchell DD's but they seem to have lost favor with alot of pullers since most of them now run SBC DD's.
