The front will not drive but will "idle" in gear. It may sound like a big thing, but it's really just what feels best to you and what works. This may not work for you.

I cannot help myself on this one. First let me apologize for not talking diesel. Second, I am older than most dirt.
In the early sixties Tommy Ivo had a four engine four wheel drive dragster called the Show Boat. The four Buick fuel injected engines would put BLACK mark all the way to the traps and beyond running M&H racing slicks and Halibrand Quick Change rear ends. It wasn't the fastest, but that wasn't his game.

i don't think you can spin all 4 tires if u dont have a locker or posi in the front axle too.
the closet ive ever came was in a twin turbo porsche suv. but my friend outside the car said it was only one tire in the front spinnin, oh well good effort

i spin all 4 in my wrx... but i race that.. i don't think i'd wanna spin my dodge with all 4.. THATS HARD ON ****! dosen't anyone know that hopping, jerking feeling you get when your stuck offroad and your spinning all 4 or when your pulling on cement and the truck starts fighting traction.... no thanks not for me. and i like spinning tires.
