Burnouts!
Burnouts!
I've seen it everytime on TV, the internet where guys put chips and stuff on their diesels. Afterwards they go out in the street and light 'em up. I've tried this with mine, but when its dry out I can brake enough to keep the truck from moving and have the gas on the floor and nothing! When its wet like 1/4 throttle will get the wheels spinning with my foot on the brake. Whats up with this? I want to paint some roads. Anybody else?

Just messin with ya....My truck could do it stock...Just hold the brake, give it the go pedal and slowly let out on the brakes then mash the pedal...I have a different method now...Just put it to the floor....5 seconds later after the turbo lites

I could be wrong, but I'll wager a Triple Dog on Crazy Larry with TM disabled and increased low end enabled might just do the trick.
You will paint cars black too
Save your rear brakes and get a hurst roll stop(linelock). You can install one even though you have antilocks, just don't touch the brakes while the front is locked. This will lock up the front brakes and you will have no resistance to the rears, just light em up then release the line lock and hold on.
Thanks guys. All of my friends with stock diesels can smokem through 2nd gear and I can't even get mine to break loose. Maybe I need to play with it just a little more. I'm afraid if I turn up the power to much I'm going to break something.(stock tranny)

with the banks six gun your not going to hurt anything, you just might run out of bullets though. I know with my 06 the tq management wouldnt let me do a burnout stock, all i could do was powerbrake and let of and it would chirp them, and i have a light single cab, but after the bullydog, and even the edge ez i had on it i can do burnouts with 35's, just hold your break, punch it, and slowly let out, they should light up good.
with my DTT converter, its not hard at all. all i have on my truck is an EZ right now and i can burn em, no problem.
build boost to 10psi, launch and they're spinning.
i do'nt know why you want to white smoke.....i did it once and it was addicting. less than a month and $350 later i replaced two rear Toyo's.

Mines moslty stock & I did it good enough to cover both rear fenders in tar from the street. In was 101 degrees outside so I guess the road was melting on it's own. Took me 3 hrs. to get it all off. Be careful where you decide to do it.
The back brakes dont wear as fast as the fronts anyway it just keeps the wear even
Is definately hard on tires tho, and seems to get funner each time. I actually got rush hour traffic to slow down enough to let me in the other day they thought the truck was on fire
