I am wondering what everyones egts get up to when they brakeboost on the line. I was messing around today on some back roads and the egts shot up to 800-900 real quick. Since I am not sure what is normal I wanted to ask on here. I am looking at going to the track on March 22 once the 4.10's are installed and the lockup switch is done.

The reason I am concerned is, with the comp on 5x5 I can peg 1600 in no time flat. So I would like to try and limit my egts when I launch but at the same time get off the line and 60ft pretty good.

 

So nobody boost brakes on the line? What are peoples EGTs at the end of the 1/4 mile?

Mostly I don't look when building boost, but the times that I have it's around 900*. I'm usually at ~1350 at the end of the track. By what's in your sig, you need more air.
