I didn't think it would take you too long to bust out a big launch at about 10 psi. Jay

I've seen someone running almost 700hp on one... so I think it can handle a lot more then they say without any problems.

I'm also wanting a dd3250. Grab you camera and make some video's of your launches.

I got a friend with that clutch though I think his is a 6 puck but he drags it, and it in the high 12s with 690ish hp. I feel pretty confident he has some boost built up when he leaves the line.

In my old truck, I used to launch it at 30 -35 psi. Believe me, they hold. The tranny will be hating life though.

maybe a dumb question but how do you build boost with the clutch disengaged?

hold the break and push the gas and slowly let out the clutch until it starts to grab it will start to build boost but the hard the you push the gas the harder you will need to hold the break and the farther you let out on the clutch

I would put it in 3rd, have the clutch in, hold the brake, hold the rpms around 3,250 and then release the clutch to make some load. You have to do some fancy footwork. Try it first with the engine off a couple of times. That way when you try it the first time on the road, you don't slip and look funny.

Could someone give a vague estimate on how many times you can do this? I want to get a clutch but I only want to buy one.

A $80 line lock also helps.
