Back from the drags...a LOT better than I expected!

1st run
2WD - 1st gear - rev on launch
16.806 @ 87.91 MPH; 60' = 2.775

2nd run
2WD - 1st gear - launch off idle
17.093 @ 88.65 MPH; 60' = 2.962

3rd run
2WD - 2nd gear - launch with rev
17.211 @ 87.15; 60' = 3.284

Said screw this, let me try a 4WD launch...

4th run
4WD - 1st gear
16.513 @ 88.5 MPH; 60' = 2.857

Kept driving kept driving, 8th run got a 16.021 @ 88.11 MPH, said I need to try one more time for a 15 second slip...finally, my last run of the night:

Got me a 15.864 @ 88.21 MPH; 2.389 60'!!!

I was beating other trucks, 1500's, Honda's, All kinds of crap tonight! Probably smoke a few people out too. I have some videos but they're crappy, I'll see about getting them up. Not bad for a friggen 7000 pound or so truck with a manual tranny!

Do you have any idea what your dyno numbers are, my friend has the same exact truck that you have, mods and everything, and he only dynoed 260hp and 550ft lbs torque. Thanks

No clue, haven't had it to the dyno...but there is one here in town I'm tempted to run a couple pulls and see what it does...

with 448hp and 821 tq, my 6spd truck ran a best so far of 15.3@96mph with a 2.3 60' time, that was with the lag pig turbo i had...i know now its a def bet for 14's...and next week when i get the SBC dd clutch in, ill be trying for low 14's with a slightly boosted launch

I was wondering is this time about average, slow, or pretty quick for what I have?

Thanks. I got some jackass talking about how he knows a guy with a truck that's just got a chip in his truck and runs 13's and how mine's slow and all this crap. I wouldn't mind shooting him.
