12.71 @ 106 3rd Gen Diesel Only
Conservative pass and settings.
First pass. TST on 4/2 and BDDL on tow. Still has the speed limiter ( YUK ) 3000 ft elevation.
Mods:
Nathans Twins
FLux 3 size ( prototype ) injectors for the 04.5-06 engine
Stage 2 CP3 from Floor It Diesel
Helix 2 Camshaft
DTT trans
MITUSA feed pump
I know it has more. This was virgin run with the new parts and no twins tuning. Truck still weighs 7K. Nothing removed. #2 only
It has no smoke after launch. Not even a wisp. The MAX EGT is only 1250. The Floor It CP3 is keeping that rail pressure up, even with the monster injectors.

That is great!!! 12.70s in a 7000lb 04.5 on #2 only. Glad to see Don has started working on injectors for the 04.5s.
I have every thing else but injectors on my truck and have been waiting for a while. Looks like the wait will be worth it.

Update: 12.66 @ 100 MPH. TST turned up to Level 6 from the previous level 4
Why only 100 MPH? Nathan is in the middle of a bracket race. He dialed a 12.58 and to avoid breaking out he slammed on the brakes @ the 1000 Ft mark.
I am wondering what it will do once tuned.

Another update:
12.54 @ 102 MPH. He broke out of the 12.58 dial in, but the other guy broke out worse.
Same box settings just did not get on the brakes quite as hard.

There is certainly some funky TQ management going on here.
Building boost at the line it really bucks and at the end of the track once you get over 110 MPH the truck begins to shut down and come back. Like you are on and off the throttle real fast. The speed limiter wont allow it to go faster than 110.
It ended up going through the lights @ 108.9 MPH on the last pass.
Come on Marco!!! We need some speed limit and tq management delete bad. (:
I am certain with the TST cranked, one of my pressure boxes and a CLDL it would run a lower ET, but it was the virgin weekend on the new stuff.

I'm not having any TQM problems with my 05. I thought that I was going to have the same problem as alot of other members so I bought another ECM just in case, but no problems yet and I have done launches over 20lbs.
How are the 04.5 and newer injectors coming?

Today it had the Stage 2 pump and big ol sticks and the best it ran was a 12.54.
It would gain mucho more, but the dern TQ management and speed limiter is killing it. Just past the 1/8th mile(around 90 MPH) the speed limiter sees the truck gaining speed fast and begins to pull the fuel back. It still tries to rocket up to 110 MPH, but it is bucking and kicking like a mule by that time.
So about 3.5 tenths but that was with bigger injectors too. I am confident once the TQ management and the speed limiter is fixed....the gains will be significant.
