i called keith to get the lowdown..... he said the very first run on the dyno with a small tune made over 830hp, then did some tune tweaking and was around 1000hp with no smoke, twins spull up very quickly and rail pressure has not came off the commaned 26k, this is great news.... they feel their still is another 200 hp to grab from this motor with more fueling, and only pushing 80lbs boost, but a great starting point to say the least... also stated the allison held over 950 hp with out the copilot being turned on( they forgot to turn it on!! wow) that is some tranny!! i guess we will see what the future details... he is looking to be towing with this setup soon, cant wait to get a ride in it next week

i have a feeling we will see this setup dupicated by the summer if all holds well

great job to keith, merchant auto, guy and tony... patents prevails

Another 200? Are you sure? I told the guys that there is at least another 200. If you guys knew how mundane the fueling was, you would do a back flip.

And Guy Tripp. That dude rocks.

Its a heck of a team here. There is plenty more where this came from as long as everyone keeps their head on straight and acts like an adult, we could go very far.

Yee Haww.

Heres to the first 1000 HP CR engine.

Maddog dynoed: 1085hp and 1990lbs recently

both the dmax and maddog dynoed on a dynoyet
Of coarse the dyno-jet winpep 7 only measures to 1800 ft-lb TQ They would have had to use some math to come up with the 1958 number. Just like maddog had to come up with the 1990
