Greatings from the new President!
Hello So-cal DTR!
As of today I am the new president of CA DTR #24, Cowhand has handed over the reigns, I hope we can all wish him luck in his next adventures.
Let me tell you about myself, My name is Randel Paulsen, and I live up here in the high dessert. town called Ridgecrest. Where the 395 and 14 meet. We are better known for the Naval Air Weapons Station, Chinalake. About an hour north of Lancaster/Palmdale. I am 25, married with no kids. Going to school and working. Plan on getting into a apprenticeship program this summer on base. I am a diesel fanatic, I own a 91 Ram W-250 which I plan on lightly bombing and restoring. I am drooling over a 2500 megacab but who knows when that will happen. I also love guns! I also tend to be rather serious about my politics, so if I get off track just give me a gentle nudge!
I am knew to the presidency gig, so I will counting on all of you stalwart DTR members in the chapter for help and guidance. I want to see this chapter grow and become a real presence in the So-Cal diesel world. I know there are tons of trucks around. As time goes on I will work with all of you on putting get togethers together, and other events. I am not sure as to chapter organization at the current time, but I hope we can get organized and involve more members in the organization and chapter govt.
I'm look forward to meeting, and talking with all of you, and also in growing this chapter!
Thanks again!
Your new President,
Randel "dieselcarpenter" Paulsen

Great to have you, Randel. Our last president was a real bum. Just kidding Conrad!
By the way, do you know Doug White? He's stationed up there with you and has an '07 quad cab with KORE suspension.

Yup, I already hit Doug (6.7 One Ton) up for the local club here in town. And let him know about me and the chapter presidency. He hasn't gotten back to me yet though. Saw his truck before and after the Kore kit, looks awesome now!
