Yeppers .... I was going to make a formal post later today, but ya beat me to it .

Still have some past stuff to clear up for the chapter (but that is on me) and Darin will have some things to do ... but for all intensive purposes, HE'S DA MAN !!!

Thanks y'all .... I'll still be around and participate when I can.

Cheers,
PISTOL

Congrats to you both for a job well done and the "next generation" stepping up. Darin will do good.

Congrats Darin, I think it's cool that they just started paying all of the Chapter Presidents now... too bad Pistol got out of it just before the new salaries were made official. I'm surprised DTR can afford to pay each pres 60k/year, but still pretty cool.

Welcome back Pack .... they let you out for "good behavior" or what ??? . We missed ya at the Bass Pro GTG this year.
The Bass Pro security guy had lots of nice things to say about you ... while two of em were frisking Darin for stink bait and the rest were circling Lurch with tasers trying to figger out how many it was gonna take to bring him down !! (We found out how many they were gonna use though .... ).

Cheers from sunny SOCAL,
PISTOL

Pack I'll let you have it man. Besides 60k a year is a little low for me. Where were you at Mon. about 6-6:30pm? I was in Harrison breifly. I might have seen Ruffy, is he driveing a Red Mega on what looked like 20's chrome door and wheel well trim and crome tube step? He passed me as I was heading back north on 65. He turned off and went toward Alpena. The truck didn't have stacks but was blowing smoke some.
Some trucks and hopefull the drivers will be at Bass Pro on the 29th at 12 noon behind the catalog outlet. Now there are several different forums comeing so it might get competitive.

that would have been roughy you seen in his mexican mobile, as we call it. at that time i was either in little rock or conway i'm thinkin. not 100% sure. i don't know if i'll be able to make the 29th. we have a family thing planned that i can't miss. i'll have my kids and nephews so that will kinda keep me stuck in one place. and i hear ya on the 60k, that is a bit low. although i never turn down an extra dollar.
