hey guys , does anyone around calgary do windshields ? i need a windshield for my 1975 dodge truck , witch are the same from 1972-1993 lol i know jobber cost is about 60 bucks for one and i can put it in , but i need the shield to do it ,,,,

Rob....I buy my windshields from Dynasy Glass....I get all my glass from there and I install them myself...The fellow you want to talk to is Darcy..I could help you put that winshield in.I have a few tools to do this.Ask for the America built windshied.

 

ok thanks dave , the one for my 75 is just a rubber job so they is really no tools other then a pick , done lots of them , and one of my buddys was a windshield guy and i can use all his tools when i need them ,

You gonna paint the truck? A new interior? Whats the plans buddy? Should turn out to be a nice truck buddy. You should snap off some pics for us, non skilled wanted to be's? You going to put in a lift in her?

My wifey gave me the thumbs up this weekend, as long as I don't put in a console in.

My plans are pretty boring? I might just upgrade my stereo some. I put on almost 6000 kms this month on the ride. The twins are almost done. I welded up the down pipe on the weekend. I just did a hack job. I don't care on how it looks, its just has to perform. I just have to get an exhaust system done, and oil lines done. Pretty easy stuff. Been expertimenting my methanol kit. Been trying to run with less fuel and more fuel to see if you can pick-up any power with it.

 

here is some pics of the truck , the in the grill pic the i had to still pull it out and weld out the rad support , and then put the marker lights in ,,, as for the inside i am going to keep it as a 1993 with a second gen seat , and the outside a 1975 , paint it burnt orange , lift 6 inch , and 37 's .

Wink.....Don't forget to pick up ypur paint before the end of the year...Unless you have the equipment to spray waterborn...Also heard they are also trying to do away with auto acylic enamal.

 

i am just going to go out and buy the water kit , don't want to but .... water based you can spary anywere , you don't did a booth lol so you can't get sh.....it for it at home , lol

 

Our guns will be ok for waterborn.....I should price out those dryers again...Last time I checked, I just about fell over when I found out the price...
