If you're trying to save money, don't buy a Buell. You'll spend way more on parts than you'll ever save. Seen it happen many times.
Cool bike bike though, neat ideas, (zero torsional load brake, fuel in frame, oil in frame, etc.) but just the wrong power plant for reliability.

global warming is pretty sweet huh. convinced yet?
buels are spendy to work on. anything associated with the HD logo is spendy. find a metric bike in the 750-1000cc range. you will get around 40ish mpg. i have my HD chipped, piped and intake and it does run better, smoother but i can't keep outta the throttle to keep my mileage up! LOL..

spring weather
Castrol Raceway in Edmonton has a T&T schedualled for Saturday.... good luck with that!.
I'd love to be home in Cochrane getting cars ready for race season but I had a chance to work thru break-up drilling a well on a Rig in NE BC. Based on the weather so far this spring it looks like I made the right choice.
For what it is worth it is snowing up here @ Tumbler Ridge BC too...2-3 inches of wet heavy snow past 24 hours....glad my Dunlop Rover Maxx Tractions still have lots of tread left on them.

It was snowing this morning when I went for my drug test, but it was quite nice by the afternoon. Rony from Brooks drove to Edmonton (dropping off my new D60 along the way) for the street legals at Castrol. Said the weather was supposed to cooperate.
My beer fridge DOES keep the garage sink from freezing in the winter (also the small heater I plug in sometimes). That's why I always have it plugged.
The alcohol in it also acts as a spare thermometer, just in case the fridge's thermometer isn't accurate...........
See? No lies,
all scientific proven facts.........Tell the Mrs. that you MUST buy the bike because you think SHE will look really good riding with you. Also her best friend. And that you can take (sexy) pictures of her and her best friend with the bike.
It could be the beginning of a beautiful thing.......

If i'm never seen again its all your fault..

Don't know about your Mrs. but mine loves me and yet she rolled her eyes when I "scientifically" proved to her that the stock tires are unsafe for driving, the stock shocks are hard on my back and I should really replace them with 305's, 2" level and Bilstein. Now I really have to convince her that the deletes are environmentally better and straight pipes help the engine use less fuel.
She'll roll her eyes. However too hard to dig in Alberta and she can't operate a wood chipper
Good new is she's sold on the bike idea and can't wait to pose in leather, I just don't know what I want yet - a good new to me used HD from the states most likely.
Are you getting the new 6.4 Hemi?
