I am considering putting twins on my truck, but im concerned about turbo lag, does any one have them in alberta with a manual tranny? I was hoping to go on a test ride to how they are.

 

With a good twins set up you should have the best of both worlds,quick spool up, lower egt's and lots of boost.

 

I had HX40 over HT3B and NV4500 was really good. but unfortunately it'll never be as fast as the same truck with a built automatic. but my old truck is sold though so no joy rides availiable .

pulling through 3rd 4th and 5th at WOT it pulled hard and fast, no noticable lag./ .

 

I just put twins on my 06. ATS 3000/5000 and I have a G56 tranny. Way less lag then with the stock turbo.
