The 64 will make the low end more livable than that POS 66 or my 74, and I have till 4500+ rpm to have fun with the big turbo. The downside to the GT55 is the cost. I know FI is making journal bearing GT55's, it might be more economical. I'm still tossing the idea around of going with another Garrett. Too bad the GTX wheel isn't out for the 55.
Tate, I think that's the only way to get that big thing to move without the spray. You'll need at least an external gate, just so you can bypass enough exhaust flow. Could run triples, its cheaper. Run like a set of street twins and have that extra turbo for the hard pulls.

Tate my current vote, for the dually is a 5533-94, with something tight on the exhaust like a .90 or 1.00. Journal bearing, cast wheels, unless you are feeling super blingy the day you order...

Should have as good of street manners as you can expect at this level, and do well north of 4 digits on fuel.

Hah, you guys will never guess what a 5533-94 is worth...

With GST its over $4k but under 5k. I'll print out the quote for you guys. That S510 is seems to be the cheapest big turbo out, but only the poor guys worry about that part.

Safe to say thats the BB CHRA. FI is $2700 for the journal bearing version. I'll probably wind up ordering from them. Unless Alamo can get the JB version for me.

Yeah the GT5533R -94 from FI is $3499USD, so just over $4k would make sense.

UTV9406 (aka big journal turbo) with a 1.00 A/R (94mm inducer) is $2400 including GST. I can get more info for you, if you want.

In a business you never exchange on the days true rate, you set a rate that will keep you making money over normal fluctuation.

At work my current exchange is 1.258 on product purchased in the USA, so a $3500 item becomes a $4403 landed in Canada if I am selling it at work.
