I dont hold any premise of beating too many people this trip.. I will be super excited if the ole chebby hits somewheres in the 400's. That would suffice for me....

Nothing wrong with a decent 400+rwhp daily beater

For sure, 400 is reliable.. The new Fords are getting scary.. Looks like the 6.4 can spit out over 500 with just a programmer.

I'll be curious to see what my 04' will throw down, provided the EGTs don't get thermonuclear during the run. Anybody got a gently used, slightly larger than stock turbo kicking around? The stocker is really holding me back and is developing some endplay

I think I saw a stocker off of a newer 06 CTD in the classifieds... The turbos on the 305 engine were pretty tight on the exhaust side, I think it was like 9 cm2 like the 01-02 autos..

PM me with a list of what you got so we don't anger the moderators.

J, the duramax can too... either efi live or ppe hot +2 will get you there... the only reason you need anything else is to make it live..

if someone has a 2nd gen 24v and is starting to add some mods or needs a clutch i am willing to give my luk clutch away, but only to someone that needs it not for resale. i think i used it for about 20k of pretty easy driving. i just thought i would put this on here cause i'll bring it to the dyno day if some needs it. cheers

Kev, my brother is using EFI, but he's only pulling around 28 psi of boost, with no smoke. So it could be funny. I'm around the 45psi mark right now, and there is some smoke. I will be fun to see if these duramaxes can hold up. I was told Duramaxes don't like high boost or any high egt's but thats how rumors start.

If I adjust my revo to 7, which I will do on the dyno day. I get both smoke and around 40 psi... just to see how it turns out in HP... maybe I will even clean the air filter, LOL
