Makin noise that I don't like.. Also looking at a clutch.. Found some spring bits in the bell housing.

 

That is usually not a good thing,,, lol.

 

My trans is sure getting loose also....What to find one that needs a overhaul that my truck is not down while I learn how to rebuild one..

 

you need to find a auto and convert that bad boy

 

I called AFI just to double confirm....All a go...

 

Find me a 47RH and you might be on to something. 2wd 47rh, that is. I know Luke has one, but he's not sharing!

 

if you can get the 2wd OD housing, governor tubes and output shaft. converting a 4wd 47rh to 2wd is pretty easy. thats how I did mine. took the stock 4wd 47rh out of the '95 that I got the engine from rebuilt and converted to 2wd.


these are the 4wd parts that i changed. you just need the 2wd extension housing and output

 

Only Luke would have tranny parts in the laundry room

I'm on-call that w/end but still about 90% chance of going to AFI in Edm.
Especially since I can't make the DPS Dyno Days June 20th which is 5 minutes from my house.

I put my summer tires and grill on last w/end and snow is in the air in Calgary..

I don't think I'll dyno but I said that in Red Deer last fall & was 3rd on the rollers!

And the Canucks and Hitmen are toast..
