Oh Steve I looked at your turbo a little bit.. did some measurements as close as I could without opening up the turbo itself.. it is a 2.8 turbo. but I couldnt get in really good to measure the exhaust side.. I will have to rig up something to measure that properly..

Ok thanks.
Is that the compressor bore dia or an estimated actual inducer dia.?
I imagine the fingers on your inside calipers won't reach in all the way, right? 2.8 in. converts to 71mm inducer. A little shy of the 74mm I was told it would be.

It is pretty close to 74mm as far as I can tell.. I am going by the conversion my calipers provide.. It is a pretty big turbo, looks nice a little smaller than Mikes k31

Kev, it will be interesting to see how the twins work for ya. Did you get the gate controllers? Might have to snap a few more pic's, its hard to see whats going on with the gate pipes.

Its about time I have some twin support locally. I was working on planting the idea of modding a buddy 09 challenger of course with twin turbo. I might have to much time on my hands.

So I'll wait and see if its a 3.467" - 88mm on the exducer like on other cheap s400's I've seen or a 2.91" -74mm exducer like he said it would be. ???
Thanks, S.

Take the compressor cover off. Its only 8 bolts. Or a v-band, depending on style. Then you can get a good measurement. There is a big difference between a 74mm and an 88mm. Use a tape measure or a ruler to measure across the blades. You need to remove the exhaust housing to get a good measure on the turbine. You won't know for sure unless you take it apart..

Ram4by, thats sounds like the exducer for the turbine disk size for the S475

The S475 has a 2.94in by 3.94 in OD, and a turbine 3.768 od and turbine exducer 3.467 or 88mm, A/R on the turbine of 1.32

Its right in the borgwarner catalog. Its a decent turbo, I've used it before. I spools decently and moves around 100lbs/min. I forget which top turbo you going with?

I'm still trying to figure out why they decided they needed the second wastegate, in that setup, the one that dumps to atmosphere. Even with the kind of fuel Kevin has and spraying I still have a hard time seeing him over spin the primary.

Yeah the one from the manifold to the hotpipe makes perfect sense and it appropriately sized. The one dumping to atmosphere, looks like some one was "well sold"

Brett, I agree.

Kev, they give you any idea on how to set-up the gates? What pressure setting or what spring pressure they are using? You might want to get a device to use as a pressure relief so you adjust on the fly. Its the easiest way. If there is a gate for the primary to atmosphere, I would just plug that up until you get to a dyno. I bet that for to limit cylinder pressure.

How much spray you planning on using?
