Hey guys....Anyone know of a good shop in Edmonton where I can get a new front driveshaft? I destroyed my stock one while 4x4ing. I am pretty sure I need a whole new assembly because the ball and socket it toast and that double u-joint is grenaded. I need one really bad and need to find one ASAP?

Also, does anyone have a picture of the driver side of a Getrag 360? When I destroyed the front U-joints it knocked a bolt or plug off the side of the tranny and I lost my tranny fluid. Now I need to figure out what plug or bolt I need.

Did you break the bolt or was it backing out ? if its broken you may have bigger issues

I have a getrag truck under a tarp if the wind and snow lets up i will go over and try and trakin a picture for you no promises its friggin cold out and not sure how much snow is under the truck

Try Po-po's in Lacombe I know they have 3 or 4 getrag trucks Reg's may have on in lacombe too. Po po's can be pricey. so phone them and then phone to see how much a new one will cost I know Pats drive line will make you one may be a bit Spendy too but its new. Some else may know of a good drive line shop in your area

 

Call Drive Products. I used the one in Calgary to shorten and rebuild both my driveshafts for my 6 spd swap, was about $500 for doing that. Looks like there is two of them in Edmonton.

 

This is the hole in the Getrag that I am talking about..What is supposed to be in there?
