I am on the last couple of days of vacation and working on a steel fab project. I had to make a trip to the Metal Supermarket today in SE Calgary just off Barlow Tr and 61st Ave SE. I pulled into the parking lot and the spots in front of the metal store were full so I pulled in about 50ft to the left. I looked up and said 'What the heck' the store in front of me had a Cummins logo on the door and a huge poster of a Cummins in the window. Oh My Goodness, the mother ship found me before I found her. I now know EXACTLY where the Cummins store is in Calgary. I wish I had an excuse to go in there and go shopping.....

 

That was the stop for me when I was living down that way. Back when they did the PowerBoosters club thing it was a darn handy place to spend the day. The one in Edmonton is very good as well, the parts manager up there knows his 5.9's.

 

Not sure you were actually there. Cummins is just north of 50th ave on 36th or 37th st.

 

I thought that store near the metal super store, is a sales office for the cummins outside sales. Was the door open or locked?

 

I didn't try the door, there was some sign on it about PPE required for visitors going into the warehouse. I was at 3716 56th Ave SE.

 

Maybe I was thinking of the other location.. That might be their industrial outlet.

The local cummin's parts guys are ok. The mechanics are grumpy at times. Some days it feels like I live there. Been trying to source a set of QSB 480 marine pistons.
