I try not to worry about such little things like that. I'm a firm believer in being practical. However, if I'm wearing a harness (Emergency Response Team), I will stop and enter upon a discussion with contractors on some higher risk activities and help to find a solution to issues that could result in me getting called out.

Powerful beings forbid my coffee getting cold as a result of having to fly into action on an occurrence that could have possibly been avoided. I never want to see anyone injured or worse. Besides, that rescue work is too hard on the body.....I'm still paying from separating my pelvis on the last one - even though the safety of the team is priority, personal ethics won't let me do anything less than necessary to make a very bad situation end with more favorable results for the patient.

Now since this thread has gone off track, let me correct that issue.

The horns work! Highway 16 east last Thursday on the way out to Lloyd...........got brain damaged buddy to pay attention and get outta the hammer lane. Crap - are they ever loud - I'm pretty sure I saw him jump in the seat!! 3/8" supply line from air tank to solenoid, then 1/4" to each horn.

The really nice thing is that I didn't have to program out my horn confirmation on locking the doors and setting the OEM security. With just that quick beep, not enough power makes it to the solenoid to set off the air horns...........but if one lays on the horn.............all heck breaks loose.

I forgot about that.. Getting home at 3 am and locking up the doors would wake everyone in a 3 block radius...LOL...
