The Morkable stack on an 04.5
Ok
My truck is one of the few that didn't like the SMARTY. I played with it for several days and am sending it back to Bob today.
Soooo......
I purchased a Diablo Predator that should be here Sat or Mon, and will be trying the 03 proven stack on a 325/600 engine. I am hoping for an additional 70-80hp and be real close to 600/1400 with the Snow now functional again. Don't really like being the guinne pig, but I got the Predator used and sold my XZT, so it didn't really cost me too much.
Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I am quite confident that you will like it, I dont really think that there will be much difference between the engines, in fact I think you should end up with even more hp from the same setup as I have

You will have to let me know when you go back to the dyno as I would like to see how it does as well. Good luck with the stack. Sorry to here that the Smarty didn't work out so well. Like I always say every truck is different.

Let me chime in here if I may!!!!
My DTR club's vp DmaxEter ('05 w/ G56 6spd) used my Diablo stacked with a BD Diesel X-Power Module (rated at 180hp/350tq) which is a timming/duration only box very similiar to the "HOT" Juice. And on a bone stock truck with only a muffler delete and open intake airbox with no filter, layed down 490hp/998tq.
So I have no doubt that with more supporting mods, this # would go up tremedously!!!

Finally got the Predator downloaded about 20 minutes ago.
First, I didn't do any timed runs, but it feels like it gave me just as much power or a little more than the SMARTY.
So then I turned the Juice on 2. More power - hey this is working. Turned the Juice on 3. Couldn't really tell much difference. Turned it to 5 - WAY WAY TOO MUCH rattle. I assume timing rattle - I am still fairly new to diesels. I tried it a couple times and same results. I decided to go ahead and stay in it one time, and after a couple second, the rattle smooths out and goes away. It feels like it is giving good power, but I came back afraid I was going to hurt it.
So what will too much timing hurt? Is it just like a gasser and will break rings and pistons and such? How do I know what the limit is and know when I'm there?
Also, I was sitting in the driveway with it still loaded up and reved the engine. It kind of hangs and then revs down slowly kind of sputtering a few times on the way down. So my question is, could I be dumping too much fuel at the stock injectors and it is overloading them? I went ahead and loaded the stock program back in for now.
