No I dont think I have any weird rev down thing,,,, hmmm, the only thing that happens in my truck is that I will be driving down the road without the cruise control on, and holding a steady foot it will suddenly accelerate then go back to normal.. I think it is the apps, I have another one, I think I will change it out here one of these days and see if that fixes it up

Oh and about the additives,, I have tried a few different brands, the powerup stuff (gen49) is definately the best I have found. Makes major difference in my truck, this is their website http://www.powerupaz.com/ see if there is a local dealer to you

Ok
Results so far.

I played after work and still had the stackable extreme download. I can use the HOT Juice up to level 3 without rattle. Noticeable power increase.

I loaded the standard performance (100hp) tune, and went testing. I can use the Juice on level 5 without rattle. Makes a little better power than the other way.

Now added some powerservice. I will probably try the stackable performance tune just to compare to the standard performance. But, then I will try the extreme tunes again with the additive and see if that allow me higher Juice settings. I will probably post that info tomorrow afternoon.

Either way, I think I will probably keep it since I think it is probably getting me close or equivalent to the 90hp injectors I was gong to do for a fraction of the price. The only thing that concerns me at this point is the weird rev thing and it also doesn't idle quite as smooth as stock - and morkable doesn't have these issues.

You didn't have to send up here either. We already have enough from last weekend.

Finally got some time to play with my diablo today. Installed the powerpuck last week right before I left to go upstate cause I wanted the extra power and didnt want to worry about towing the sleds and have a problem. It worked awesome, a little more rattle, but only at part throttle and barely noticeable. Installed the programmer today and yeehaa! I loaded the Extreme Puck Tune with the power puck set on high the truck is a blast. I havent tried any of the other settings yet. My programmer had two choices of tunes installed. Regualar performance tunes and a puck tunes section. So there are definetly seperate stacking tunes available.

Ok
I will be dynoing on the 18th. I'll let you guys know where she stands after that.

I tried the extreme stack with a healthy dose of powerservice and still have pretty good rattle for a few seconds. I'm going to order some of that gen49 and see if that makes any difference.

I don't have a performance stack program. Should there be one? The regular programs there is tow, performance, and extreme. The stack programs there is only tow and extreme.

Omaha, sounds like you've got all the tunes, except for the radical 200hp tune. Now if you want to hear rattle...download that sucker...

Mine does the weird rev down thing you describe. I think it is programmed in to help with turbo bark. My idle is also not quite as smooth as stock but it is still alright.

I pay about 2o bucks for a small bottle of gen49, lasts for 10 tanks, gives me better fuel milage, and only costs me 2 bucks per tank, well worth it IMO. I use it year round

Ok
maybe I won't be trying the gen49 - $39/qt . How do you calculate that to $2/tank. It suggests 1oz/10gallons. So yes, 1 bottle does 10 tanks, but that's $3.90/tank, not $2/tank. That's increasing the already too expensive diesel prices by $.13/gal.

Wow, that is expensive, I buy it here for less than 20 bucks a bottle. Call NADP here in grande prairie, even with shipping, you will probably pay less than 20 bucks a bottle with your strong dollar ( I think it is around 15 to 20% right now)

Kevin

but another thought,, even if it increases your cost of fuel, overall cost will go down, as you will see an increase in fuel mileage. And your engine will run better and last longer.

There is absolutely a stacking program. I got my Diablo with both sets of programs in it. It has the standard three plus another 2 stacking programs. I use the power puck with it, but cannot report definite gains cause it just slips the ****** tranny . The extreme tune does make it smoke though. So untill I can afford to go see Dave, I leave the programmer on standard economy and the puck on stock

Just in case someone missed my post on the other thread going about the Predator.

I got my custom tunes from Johan today. One of them is the Extreme with less timing but more fuel. I can now run level 5 on the HOT Juice with no rattle at all. It has really smooth power, and I think is deceptively fast as far as seat of the pants. I am confident I will break 600hp on Sunday.
