Well, hopefully Morkable will be on here tonight and let us know what tune he is running for sure. I just posted on the Diablosport forum about a stackable tune. So we'll see if I get any info from over there as well.

I really wanted to see what she had tonight

I've got a couple posts on that forum today also. I asked about the stack tunes and was told to load up the new 23r and it would have the stack programs available along with a fix for the grid heater problem. Haven't gone out to the truck yet because I'm waiting for my custom tune in the morning. Morkable was/is running the regular extreme with Juice on 5 for his max power.

I just got the same setup. I put the powerpuck in last week and was happy with the gains. I haven't hooked up the downloader yet, but I was told there is a "puck tune" in it that goes with the timing box. The puck is considered a timing & duration box right? I did notice a little more rattle with the puck, but not very much. I am really looking forward to getting some time so I can install the downloader and see what this stack can really do.

Puck is pressure, maybe some timing. Predator is timing and duration.

Hello all, I am running the diablo in extreme stacking tune. It nets about 40 more hp in the stack. As for the rattle, that sounds like what I get if I forget to put in my fuel additive. I run stuff called gen49 (it is a cetene booster) It will quiet that rattle right down. The stacking tune also gives slightly less timing than the regular tune.

it looks like there were two updates(maybe one to add the stack tunes and one to fix the grid heaters)instead of two updates they put it into one and that is the r24

They told me that r23 contained both the grid heater and stack updates.... hmmm..
Morkable, are you sure they remove some of the timing with the stack tune?

I went back out last night and discovered that if you choose the powerpuck programs, what it is really giving you is the stackable programs. I chose the extreme stackable and it is the same as the non-stackable. Still really loud timing rattle. Not sure I want to run additive in every tank - that's pretty pricy. I might try the 100hp setting and see if it goes away. Mork - you are only getting an additional 40hp out of the 160hp tune? If I only run the 100hp tune, I'll be lucky to see 25-30hp. I'm starting to lean back toward the injector idea rather than a downloader. Mork - do you get that wierd rev down like I described above?

What i meant by an extra 40 hp, is between the extreme stacker and the regular extreme. I dyno'd both with the edge on 5. It seems (I dont have proof, would have to ask diablo to be sure) that there is less timing added in the stacker tune. As for additive, I never miss a tank. I pay about 2o bucks for a small bottle of gen49, lasts for 10 tanks, gives me better fuel milage, and only costs me 2 bucks per tank, well worth it IMO. I use it year round

There is definately a difference between Extreme and Extreme Stack. Extreme Stack w/ my XZT is wonderfully powerful all over the place. Way more so than reg ext + xzt. Will be getting the 200hp tune later today hopefully, but honestly this thing runs almost too good to change right now...

Are you buying that at a diesel shop or just at ORiely's or somewhere? I know I had some DieselPower in my truck for a while and once you open it, it stinks bad. I don't really want to carry that stuff around in my truck and I don't have a tool box out back. I guess I'll buy some additive today and see if that takes care of the rattle. I'm wondering though, if it just isn't quite as good of a combination on a 325/600 engine for some reason.

So again, Morkable, does yours do the wierd rev down thing, or do I have an issue there that shouldn't exist?
