I could be wrong but I dont even think that would be possible on a 4x4. The axle shafts need to come straight out of the axle housing to the wheel hub. The only way to drop it would be in the suspension. Custom coils would be the way to go instead of torching. Make sure to post pics when your done!

Kevin I know no one wants too revert to canadian tire tactics.....but they have these magical little things that allow you too either drop the frontend by binding the coils together, or lifting by spreading them apart. I believe the little part i am talking about is about 5 bucks for 2.....I know it is pretty hokey pokey, but if you are not looking for street manners.....it may just be the easiest and cheapest way too do it!!

I would lean towards calling deaver and getting some lower springs and then machining the rear blocks and needed.

was the bully dog "diesel inferno" truck lowered or do those rims give it that look?

The FASS guys have a road race truck. I think it was lowered around 3" in front and around 5 in back, using KORE suspension. They have a thread on it over at comp. diesel.

I just sent an email off to their canadian distributors, which just happen to be in Okotoks. I will let you know what they come up with

That truck is now orange and is one of our chapter members. Crankeddodge gave the ex-pinks truck a workover, was in Diesel Power a couple months back.

Kevin, I think I know that shop in Okotoks....

Hey guys long time to talk from me eh.

Kevin we are working with a place in Red Deer that are possibly going to build us a set of drop springs for the truck. Another way to do it but it is on the more pricey side would be to switch to a set of Koni Adjustable coilovers in the front. That way you could adjust rebound return rate and so forth.

The orange truck is not lowered just the low front bumper on it makes it look like that.
