I am assuming this is due to a larger overlap window?
I don't do race engines, but take vibration data on industrial engines all the time to see the actual cam timing vs. the book.

Sucks you're left out in the cold, but you seem remarkably composed about it, atleast from what I ahve seen. But I guess we all know that you have to pay to play, and from time to time, **** goes wrong and we get burned.

The only small but good thing is that engine isn't in too bad of shape considering how bad it was plugged up, it could be alot worse. Its still rebuildable, the troubleshooting parts/cost has been really the painfull part..

Kev have you looked at the carrillo rods? Suppose to be the lightest billet ctd rod available. Abit more money than the crower.
