Did you open that gate back up and fix the diaphragm in it so it could be tightened down properly? It was sitting all cockeyed when I left it.

As for more control you will have to run two regulators.

This is how it is typically plumbed:

But you could add another regulator on the supply side. Obviously wouldn't be able to add boost, but could limit the amount of supply seen by the gate and the other regulator.

I am sure how you have it will work just fine in the real application. Gate is pretty much always in motion once it starts to open, just the nature of the beast.

I'm thinking that I might want to try various different control methods. Might have to add another stiffer spring for the gate and use two pressure regs for bottom/top. I really don't want the gate to go open as fast as it does, short using a stiffer spring, I don't know how to do it. Anyways I can't wait to get in some seat time with the new turbo set-up.

Kinda like what we discussed last night... Maybe the 6.7L might get the ISX head check out the funky twin turbo set-up.

Hopefully we can test out that external gate here shortly.

Getting closer, got some parts, some right parts, some the wrong stuff. One step forward, one backwards.

Going to do some adjustments that GT4202 next week. Thinking about going from a T-6 A/R 1.01 to T-4 housing. Might adjust the compressor housing some.
