Cool stuff Dave, I remember listening to Iron when I grew up. Old hair metal bands, when they had hair and I had hair. The lead singer for Iron, has a air plane show on PBS, thats pretty cool.
Would be nice to have money to buy that kinda of level of toys.

It was kind of cool..seeing some young fellows rocking out to songs that where composed before they where born...There where some old farts that where getting into it also...Looked funny as hell..
I didn't know that the lead singer also flys chartered jets in the UK,Thats why he had to cut his hair short..also didn't know that majority of their songs are about history.Bruce Dickinson has a degree in history.
I kind of like the Boeing 757 jet ed force one..I guess they use this jet for their equipment instead of trucking it around the countries they tour.

Dave, try again bro, I'm not that young but still young at heart. I have few of their albums hidden away at my parents, along with a few other oldies but goldies.
Bruce, he's a pretty funny guy. I like that TV show. He's different sort

Big fan.. Went way back on the Madness tour and some upstart opening band came out and just made a mess of the place, fights, throwing stuff. The opening band had such a drunk bass player, they had to source out another one and eventually had to loose the drummer too. Any thoughts on who the opening band was? Some trivia!
BTW did they have Eddie there?

The friend that went to the concert with me...I asked him....The backup band was Guns and Roses...Back in about 1988 or 89...What I was told that Guns and Roses bailed half ways on the tour, because of the one song they had...Welcome to the Jungle, made them overnight successes...I'm I right??
Also didn't know they have four guiters in the band..One bass and 3 leads..No wonder it sounds so good live and on tape..
Eddie was there.....huge....about 10 feet tall

I guess that says something Andy...That at 50...we are not ready for the bone yard yet.The guys where amazing on stage..they moved around like they where 20 years old..

It was a really good concert...The Scorpions are also on tour.In Alberta in Aug.Got my ticket..Don't expect a really high energy concert, but you never know with the lead singer and lead guitarist both in their early 60's, age doesn't matter..I guess....Wow...How time flew by since the Blackout album"

These 50 plus year olds put on one hell of a show and its amazing the age group of the audience is anywhere from 10 years old to 60..
