So far so good. I dropped her off in Edmonton at my brothers late last night. Coming down to Sundre after dropping her off thru the white out was fun! She starts treatments on Monday at the Cancer Clinic. As of today, she is an Alberta resident.
We are not sure how long she will go, her condition is getting noticeably worse. I spent the better part of 3 weeks down in Chilliwack getting her house ready to list for the realtor's and get a bunch of legal paperwork done before she does pass on. While there, we had to rush her to the hospital to have her lung drained. That's a little bizarre to watch when they drain 2 liters of fluid from her lung
Myself, it's one of those whatever things. I haven't let it hit me yet, I haven't had the time to let it. But it will. She is not the person I know, yeah it's just lung cancer and you wouldn't think it would change a person that much but it does. I'm just staying busy, I have to head back to Edmonton Sunday and take a load of stuff up there. Running back and forth from Chilliwack, Edmonton and here in Sundre hauling furniture and belongings totaled out to about 15,000km in the last 3 weeks (not looking forward to that fuel bill) has kept my head busy.
I'll keep you all informed as things develop. But so far so good.
Jeff
