Well Peter answered my questions. I guess I was the last of the bad batch of center disks he had in production at the time, about 3 years ago.. WARRANTY! New disk on the way. I will stick with the FE.

Talk about service.. SBC rocks..

Dog, What you been averaging for fuel mileage on the overhead? My hemi is around 15-16mpg on the hiway. My old truck I'm in the 17 to 19mpg range, so it gets driven the most these days. Well, are we getting close yet???

Nothing that nice yet for a full tank average. Last time I went to Edmonton I filled and drove highway there and got 18.4 in the overhead. Then it plummeted to a measly 14 for some reason .

Just to make you feel better, I can average 13mpg on the 1/2ton hemi at times. At 0.93 cents a litre, thats alot more. The dealer told me average 24 mpg, I can break 20mpg, going downhill, with my foot off the throttle.

My chevy just broke in,, right after the dyno... been averaging allmost 24mpg (hand calculated) since. On the overhead it shows 9.4l / 100kmh, or 25mpg.

Pretty happy about that
