FYI- Calgary Race City update
Steve, how much was it for drilled/tapped flange? You'll need a decent drill press to cut thru the flange, as mine a peice of junk. What you doing for the primary support? Your almost done buddy. Tate has a nice support designed for a 12v engine, maybe he could snap off a few pictures for you.
I just used 3in exhaust for my down pipe, its way easier to use than 3in sch 40, that's pretty beefy stuff.

The injectors in that engine are the originals to it, but not necessarily back in the same holes, so you might want to use care if you are wanting to reuse them....
. Probably best to use as cores.

We have a drill press at school here that should do it. That or Kev's in Mac.
Waiting to see about support.
Pics from Tate would be a bonus.
What say Tate?
I may go with exhaust tubing for the hot pipe like you suggest.
Especially if I want to press it into roughly a square shape to match the T6 port.
3", however, may not match up very good to the T6. I had a 3" paper tube I squished to see how well it matched the T6 port and it doesn't cover very much of the T6 port.
I may use 4 inch exhaust tubing if the flow speed doesn't radically drop by going bigger.
3in fits in pretty nicely into the flange, but every flange is cut differently. Mine looks similar to Kev's brace. Once you get the brace made, you can make your hot pipe. I used 3 1/2in for my air tubes. I really didn't see much or feel much of a difference going from 3 1/2 to 4in air tubes on my truck. Going from a ported head, to an unported head, or a camshaft, you notice that stuff.
Tate's bolts back to the bell housing, from the motor mount area.
Jason, no worries about the motor. Its all going to rebuilt, better than new. The injectors are going to SDX for some upgrading. I'm going with 5X18 or 5X20 size stuff. Today I pulled apart my VE motor, its actually in pretty decent shape, considering its been sitting in a garage/storage for years. Man the ctd rods are beefy pieces. Once we get the pistons off, we will do some baseline measuring. The guy who has to balance the crank afterwards might have have fun.

Since you are going all out Mike, I was looking over at the BigBadDodge site for his new features and noticed his new 12V intake manifold in stainless.
Cruise to the bottom of the page.. Looks NICE...

I don't know how we are building the intake yet, but it should be similar. We have to build the intake cold air pipe around the cage as things get pretty tight. That truck does look pretty whizzy and expensive. Thanks for the link.
