Flying J

Just wondering if anybody knows why the flying J in sherwood park has fuel so much cheaper than everybody else? I wish there was a similar deal on the west end of Edmonton...

Thanks

Regular fillup. Was tipped by a buddy who lives in Cold Lake. So... everytime I have to go to SP for an errand, I fill up, even if it is only a few bucks...

I've been buying regularly at the FJ in south Calgary since the day it opened last year. I always pay by debit or creditcard, and its always anywhere from 5c-13c cheaper than the going rate. I know what it says there, but I seem to pay always cheaper

have bought mine at the two FJ's in south calgary since open and have paid various methods and is always cheaper than anywhere else. only issue is the fact there always seems to be issues with the pumups or the pay at the pump options. . .

there's a FJ in airdrie???

Flying J in Sherwood Park is the only place I fill up when around home. They have been the cheapest by far compared to any fuel station in and Around Edmonton since it opened and I have had no issues what so ever with the fuel there as well.

With the new price of fuel at other gas stations at 1.41/L, the J's are now about 15+ cents cheaper. I only fill up at the J's unless I am suckin fumes elsewear.

I tried to get a cardlock membership at the Flying J but it turns out that it is not as easy as you may expect. You have to fill out a credit application & an estimate of fuel usage....then they asked for a cash deposit of 1 months worth of fuel for me (about 400 bucks). This money wasn't going to be used to pay for fuel-only to secure that much diesel in their system...you still had to pay for the diesel at the end of the month....what a pain.

Still, 15 bucks off a tank ain't that bad.

Flying J here in sherwood park is definatly the cheapest in city. Only downfall is sometimes you have to wait up to 20mins to fill due to line ups. But hey I aint complaining!

Yep there is. Its on the east side of the hiway down the road from tim hortins. Its a cardlock only, no store as they had no one to run it. but the pumps accept all major credit cards.
