exhaust shop with decent rates . . . ?

i have my new 4' long donaldson muffler in place and am pleased with the noise level/sound. BUT, it is resting on the crossmember right now though. i need to either get a rubber bumper in between the two, or get it suspended from a hanger. also, i need my tailpipe to be tipped up right at the back.

anyone know of a good shop with decent rates that could do this for me? or anyone want to do it for a case of beer?

Bit off topic, but did you use the one we picked up in Spokane or did you get a new one?

I've been dealing with Calgary Muffler at 58th & Macleod Tr for years.
It's a small shop that has been in business for a 100 years.. you deal directly with the guy working on your vehicle.

Not sure they are the cheapest though..

New guy Justin just got a straight pipe & Aeroturbine muffler install there a week ago. It looked & sounded very good...

Btw, your new Donaldson muffler sounded very stout in Red Deer.. Did you get your truck back already?

i'll give them a shout then.

yeah, truck is back, and working well - just have to relearn how to drive it now.

i like the sound of the donaldson too. i think it's a tad louder than stock, and maybe a bit quieter than the MBRP muffler was. but it flows like a straight pipe! drone is now a NON-issue!

Off topic, but did they take the lock up out of the 3rd - 4th shift? Did the turbo bark go away if they did?

no, lockup remains. it is a dodge trait controlled by the computer. it unlocks if i'm hard enough into it though . . . no bark at WOT shifts.

I would have to second these guys as well, they did a 5" straight on my old man, seem like a pretty legit group of guys.

200's and 64/73 is what he said on Sunday. You'd know that if you showed up, Joe.

I had missed the link earlier but just read the thread.
Good for you to point out their service!
The right way to do business, but really hard to find that these days.
That is awsome how Donaldson took care of you!

Gregg, is that the same combo you had for the JB's drag event? It would be curious what you put up for numbers
