Thumbs up to Donaldson!
Well I ordered a Donaldson muffler from Ryder fleet products earlier this summer and had it sent to an campground/RV park in the states for my vacationing family to bring back into Canada for me. Everything was fine with Ryder and shipments etc . . . but I opened the box and looked down the muffler and the baffle was severely crokked, and solid - there was no bending it back straight.
So, I contacted Donaldson directly, they requested pics, so I sent them some and they shipped me a new muffler no more questions asked, free of charge and told me to just keep/scrap the defect one.
I'm pretty impressed with that - especially since they are a rather large company. You don't get service like that much anymore, especially from the big guys.
I would not hesitate to buy their products again - they obviiously stand behind them!

Before you just order one, look at them on line and decide witch one you want. They come in the center baffle type (that's the one I have) and another internal design too with kind of a horn inside. Plus they not only come in various lengths and outlet diameters, but in overall diameters too! Sheesh. I ended up with a 9 inch diameter, 5 inch in and out, and about 27 inch length. Then I belled it down to 4 inch to fit my pipe. This seemed like the absolute least restriction.
Next check out their clamps. Not just the U bolt style, but the band clamps for about $8.00 each. Well worth it.
Good mufflers and not too expensive.

Great info, thanks. My brother ordered us each on already. M085171 (I think is the model #). I'm going to put the Banks Muffler up towards the down-pipe and the Donaldson just befor the rear axle. I hope I can get rid of the drone. I didn't get any clamps, but I'll look into getting band-clamps. The u-bolt type crimp the pipes too much.

Stock,
I have no drone with mine at all. It is louder than stock, but not as loud as the MBRP I took off. Quieter the faster the engine is running and somewhat raspy right above idle.
My muffler is set way forward and the pipe is turned out the side in front of the tire. I love it and it makes a lot of room for an air tank and stuff where the old pipe used to go.
