Dyno at the black out? anyone else lose $50
So I thought I'd run on the dyno at the black out, waited in line for ever like most years as its popular. Paid my $50 got on the dyno first pass was 327HP second pass was 250HP third pass a boost hose blew off(**** BD hose clamps). I kinda thought I'd hit a little higher numbers. Then a buddy ran his dully 6.7 dodge. He only got 329hp. last year he did around 480HP. Since last year we installed 40HP injectors and stage 3 water meth. Both of our trucks had smokeing tires on the dyno. I think the dyno was off. Tires were definatly spining on it. I watched a few other people run and they seamed ****** with the low numbers. Anyone else think they lost $50? And the guy doing it couldn't print your run so he was going to email it to you, haven't seen mine yet. Maybe one of the NADP guys can shed some light on the situation? But anyhow I had a blast at the blackout, It was a good event as always.

A buddy out here was there too and said it was a waste of money. Didnt know you could only make 480hp with large twins, incectors, twin CP3`s, smarty and much more.

High volume dynos are a waste of money at the best of times. When you have trucks ranging from stock to over 600 hp, you can't get it tuned in properly.
IMO, don't bother going to those type of events if you want some real numbers.
