lose fuel pressure with crank sensor out?
My truck has thrown the code for the crank sensor and my tach has intermittently gone to 0. I've heard that the LP is shutting off during this period, but I have a mechanical FP gauge and and it never reads below 10 at WOT. Is this an issue?
It is possible your ECM turns off the LP power if it loses the crank sensor signal and assumes your engine has stalled.
This begs the question, why not just replace your crank sensor? It is not an expensive part.

I'm going to this weekend, but it has been so cold here... this morning it was -31. Last weekend it was -38, -52 with the wind and I worked outside all day... Sunday warmed up to -26 all this week has been brutal...
