cummins powered mouse trap
Just back from the Fort, so took the truck in to the local quicky lube place to get the fluids changed. Carried on to the Kubota dealership. As I'm walking out, a fellow walking in asked if that was my Cummins. I said "yes" (figured I'd get another unsolicited "you want to sell it?") when he asked "Did you know you have a mouse in the hood?" Pretty sure my left leg was beginning to get longer than my right, "noooo....". I looked. Hmmm. New use for a Cummins. It really is the all round truck... ;-)

No idea.
The only thing I can see is maybe the mouse had moved into the engine bay, and was disturbed by the oil change. In the hood blanket (or whatever you call that insulation?) and got shaken out while the hood was getting closed?
Either way, I'm glad it is not in my engine bay...

Don't get me worrying...
Just had a cold snap. I suspect s/he was looking for somewhere warm when the truck stopped. Might have to get one or two of those newfangled victor plastic mousetraps and some peanut butter under the hood...

Last year i dug a dead one out of my dads airbox on his quad out at the farm---the box was packed full of bedding and dog food for the up coming winter. Pops noticed the quad was a little sluggish not being able to breath.Last 3 years have been bad in the city, between the yard/garage/basement i have caught 1/2 dozen in traps.Folks have very few mice around the farm as with the 6 (MEAN)farm cats roaming around, i would not hang around either---I would have one for the city, but this guy is not to friendly to "PUSSYCATS"----second pic is the "SQUIRRELS" keeping him busy at the lake on weekends.DW
