Sorry Mike, I am a lot more familiar with Swagelok stuff instead of the fuel fittings on these trucks. Someday, Im going to convert everything to Swagelok - Ive been "collecting" fittings for awhile now...

Now, back to my problems...

It looks like Mr. Hansens rad pressure tester and UV light would greatly help in diagnosing this problem. If you are coming up this way Jason, drop by (but certainly dont make a special trip). Or I could maybe slip down to my old stomping grounds and pick it up. A burger from Bernie and the Boys would hit the spot....

Shane I hope things turn out good far ya. If you lived closer, I'm sure we could do abit of helping out. If it turns out to be a head, at least your running a 12V head. I just bought a 12v head, brand new with #60 springs.

Got Passenger and Farrell to oring/ multi cut on the valves and ported the head. A real good deal, not going to publish prices, but my entire build for this engine will be done less than what I would spent on just a 24VP head from cummins.

You should hold off till March sometime when I'm out there.

Mike, Cummins P/N for the pump and engine brackets are 4003580 and 3928898, and the bolt is 3901445.

Lemme know when you want to do it-if you want to wait for Tate to be up there that's cool, if you want to do it sooner we can do that too. Am pretty flexible right now for dates/times although I have my resume in at a few different places-maybe something will pan out.

Thanks Tate. I'll get some prices on those parts.

Just found out that the china head needs to get the valves cut, and right out of the box, the valves didn't seat. We tried to lap the valves, but to no luck. Other than that the head is a decent piece. No cracks, and the valve seat area is extra harden vs the cummins. Once I get the head done, I'll post some pics.

This just gave me a reason to get the valves cut even more to improve air flow and get a multi-angle valve cut/finish.
