Hey luke was that rig built in the Acadamy yard in the S.E?? Nabors owns that shop, if you look at the logo it's simular to the nabors one. Pretty cool facility though, i got a tour two years ago pretty impressive.

"That hummer looks sick."

thats where I worked when I worked for Nabors, was the Academy shop. Nabors bought out Academy now its a division. I put in a couple years there. build a few heavy triples, a couple barge rigs for louisiana, a heli double converted from a burned down conventional (the derrickman died on that one) some conventional doubles. couple dual purpose coil tubers. the full range.

I think it's Nabors 19AC drilling on the island.
Mike, I'm not sure what controls on the jets, I never gave them more than a quick walk through. They have three installed for power generation with heat recovery. They only run one at a time and need load banks to make enough load to make them stable. They sort of over bought. I'm only here until Friday then off to Ft.Mac Sunday. Lucky me.

I think the biggest rig I had hands on in the Nabors yard was a 9000m rig. we built a walking rig too. the substructure has giant hydraulic pads that walks the rig. wild. it was a triple too.

I have seen it walk on a video, quit impressive. We have a few up in the artic working on huge pads, but i was talking to one guy that worked on one. Temp there was -110 with wind chill, too cold for this guy.
