Cool Hummer
I love those mattracks. I don't care what anyone says about them. I've got a thing for them. Sunshine Mountain used to or may still have a big black Excursion with Mattracks on it.
Oh ya....I built and comissioned most of the hydraulics on this rig to go work up on the north slope last summer. You on this one? Nabors 106e

I don't work on the rigs, more on the compression end of things. There is a Nabors rig out on the "Island", a 5 acre gravel pad in about 40 feet of water. I think they said they are planning on drilling 45 holes there, 7 feet between well heads. The derrick is on rails so it can travel with out all the rigging headache.
Good news is that I got early parole since the wire pullers were not even close to being finished. Couple more pics, power plant etc.

Holly, many years ago, I had the opportunity to go work for the North Slope PD out of Barrow, AK. I'm glad I decided against it even though I'd be close to retirement by now.
All it takes is 15 years with the money they pay and nowhere to spend it.

DRD, what type of Solar Centuars? You guys have the solarnox stuff or the older stuff? What are you guys using them for?
I just finished working on a T-4500 for Pennwest last week. Its looks way too cold for me up there. Last year I worked outside in Saskatchewan in January. It was -35 deg's below for 14-16hr, pulling the wrenches. Nobody wanted to work
go figure. That would be a heat wave for you guys. You working on the north slope?
