camcorders and helmet/roll bar cams

Anyone have any experience on these? I want to get a good one, but not sure what. I gave my daughter my jvc that had the 30Gb hard drive,, want something better

When we ran the desert truck, we just found the biggest memory digital video camera we could find and built a rubber isolated mount for it on the cage. We would get a whole season out of a camera before we dusted it out.

With the prices now a days, you could run multiple cameras to monitor guages, out the windshield, etc, etc.

Most all cameras now have external memory cards that go upwards now of 16 gigs, that's a lot of runs when you look at it a quarter mile at a time. A lot of them have underwater housing available also to help keep mother nature out of them.

I searched for cameras a while back and they have some now that have an SD card and are the size of a golfball. Mount to helmets, dash with suction cup holders.. I will have to retrace my steps...

Doesn't get much better than this.

$300 for up to 2.5 hrs of High Definition recording.

Ordered mine today, quadding will never be the same!!!
