Guys those beads are a waste of time and money!!!!Snake oil.
I thought the idea was sound and installed them in several customers tires. I had to remove them all and balance with weights, this was an expensive mistake.

You think beads work? just add a few ounces of antifreeze to get the same wobble effect, that is alot cheaper.

I bought the wheels used off of the classifieds here, so the holes were already opened up.. Took me three months to get them for various reasons. This balancing issue is just par for the course, I guess.

Jeff, I might have to hit up the Cochrane store. It would only be about another 10 minutes for me, instead of driving to Memorial and 36 St.

Ive been running them for a couple of years now - truck rides smooth as glass and the tires are wearing very well.

Many people swear by them, big rigs have been running them for years as well. Might be "snake oil" but Im going to continue to use them.

The beads ability to operate have alot to do with installation. You use alot of the bead sealer on the tire and you get gumballs instead of dry beads.

I've had good luck with them too-no more weights for me. YMMV.

D-D-D-Dooood........talking about tires. My 6 Nittos just finally arrived this morning, to the shop. and i got my 1st real eye look at them......they're HUGE in real life/ 305/45r22 Nitto 420s. The over all width of the duals is looking like 25-26 inches.

now.....talk about winter is almost here and I started this rim conversion operation in about june

Oh well almost time.

on another note big red '98 got a handshake sale today.

How has the 12v swap progressed? My wheel deal started in June too, so you're not alone. You might have to let me try your 22's on before they go on the chev for good, just so I know what I'm up against as far as widths go.

My 235 Nokians have been great on my dually, just need to find a good shop to do them. Blizzacks in winter if you want some dedicated winter tread.
